The Network Effect showcases digital stories from some of our members about what participation with the Network has meant for them. Each video features a member and their personal story.
The stories from the Network Effect series are to help other consumers to know that, through participation, they are valued and worthwhile members of the community.
Over time, we hope to be able to add more to this collection of videos.
Chris
Chris has been an active member of the Network participating in both consumer representation and facilitation of our Community Education workshops, as well as varying positions on the Network Board.
Maree
Maree joined the Network in 2018. She was an active member of the Network right up to the time she passed away in December 2023.
In her time with us at the Network, Maree volunteered as a Consumer Representative, completed training to co-facilitate workshops, and was looking forward to developing her skills further as a Co-Facilitator and Mentor. Maree also held several positions on the Network Board, and in 2023 took on the role of Treasurer. She will be missed. This is her story.
Paul
Paul has been actively involved with the Network in various ways over the years, including Consumer Representation, Mentoring and on the Network Board, where he currently serves as our Chair.
Terri
Terri has been an active member of the Network for many years in multiple roles. In addition to Consumer Representation, she has been a Mentor and Facilitator in our Community Education workshops, as well as serving on the Network Board.
